Job Description
“Supporting your academic goals". That is what we do at Maastricht University Library. Providing academic information is our core task to support these goals. A well-functioning library system, websites and other applications and tools are crucial for this.
The digitalization of library services requires smart, scalable and well-integrated systems. Students and employees expect that information relevant to them is always available in a safe, reliable and user-friendly way. That is why we are looking for a connecting and analytical Library Systems Coordinator – someone who brings together technology, user-friendliness and practical needs.
In this role, you are responsible for the development and management of crucial systems, such as the library system, websites and various tools to support research, education and business operations. You work at the intersection of functional requirements, technical feasibility and strategic goals. Together with developers, administrators and stakeholders, you translate user needs into workable solutions and ensure continuous improvement of our digital services. You are the link between technology and practice, and actively contribute to a future-proof, data-driven Library.
