The function

We’re looking for a Salesforce Service Architect to join our growing Architecture team. In this role, you will be the architectural lead across multiple Agile teams, ensuring our Salesforce solutions are sustainable, secure, and aligned with our enterprise vision. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and other architects to shape the future of our Salesforce landscape.
This is not a hands-on development role, most of your time will be spent on solution design, architectural governance, collaboration, and ensuring the long-term health of the Salesforce platform. Your focus is helping teams build the right solutions, not building them yourself.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design:
- Advise stakeholders and translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
- Incorporate security, performance, storage, and compliance best practices into solution designs.
- Document the high-level technical design ensuring a clear understanding of the business purpose and scenarios
- Conducting proof of concepts and feasibility studies to explore innovative solutions
- Implementation and Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Salesforce Program Architects, Service Architects and Enterprise Architect to align solutions with the long-term roadmap.
- Support Agile teams during refinement, planning, and delivery, ensuring architectural consistency across sprints and teams.
- Governance and Monitoring:
- Promote adherence to architectural standards, patterns, and governance processes across Agile teams.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Salesforce architecture
- Problem Solving and Incident Support:
- Act as the architectural point of contact for escalated incidents or problem tickets related to Salesforce implementation.
- Collaborate with Service Operations teams to resolve architecture-related issues.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, including architecture or senior solution design roles.
- Proven experience with Salesforce implementations across multiple clouds (e.g., Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud).
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including data modelling, automation, security, and sharing models.
- Expertise in Salesforce development best practices to effectively support and guide the development team
- Experience with APIs, integration patterns, and middleware solutions in enterprise environments is a plus.
- Ability to manage how architectural decisions affect performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- A mindset that challenges the ask, questions assumptions, and strives to design solutions that are best for the long-term health and scalability of the Salesforce platform
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to non-technical stakeholders
- Certifications:
- Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect) are a plus.
- Candidates actively working toward certifications or with equivalent hands-on experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with the latest Salesforce platform releases and roadmap features is preferred.

- The salary range for a full-time position (40 hours) is between €4640,- and €7500,- gross per month depending on experience
