The function

About the internship

We are looking for a motivated Data Engineering Intern to join the IT Performance and Data management Team. In this role, you will be involved in the design and implementation of an ETL Data Quality Framework that allows our data from all around the globe to be available where it matters.

Associated tasks & Responsibilities:

• Design and build a framework that automatically detects data quality issues and implement cleansing.
• Test and deploy your solution in a pilot project.
• Partner with experts across departments to address real-world data challenges.

What you’ll learn:

• A hands-on understanding of the complete ETL cycle, from raw data to business insights.
• Practical skills in programming languages such as SQL and Python, applied to data engineering and data analysis.
• How to design and implement data validation checks in real pipelines

• A curious, analytical learner who wants to turn data into impact.
• A student in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Someone who enjoys solving problems, experimenting with ideas, and learning by doing.

We offer

We offer you an internship in a multicultural, dynamic, and informal international working environment:

• 6 months full-time internship, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Internship compensation, € 800,- gross per month based on 40 hours per week.
• Starting date: February/March 2026
