Welcome to Maastricht University! Do you enjoy working in an international, dynamic environment where education meets practice? At Maastricht University, we bring together executives, academics, and professionals to exchange knowledge, explore solutions, and shape the future of business and society.

Management/Office Assistant Maastricht School of Management

  • Our goal: Ensure the smooth daily operation of MSM by providing professional, proactive, and reliable support to our management team and colleagues.
  • Your colleagues: A small, international and dynamic team at the Maastricht School of Management. Together, we create an environment where collaboration, structure and hospitality go hand in hand. You handle a wide variety of administrative, planning, and light financial tasks with accuracy and care – ensuring that colleagues can focus on their core work.

What you do

  • Providing secretarial and administrative support to the Management Team, including agenda management, meeting preparation, and follow-up on action points.
  • Coordinating internal meetings and events, such as staff meetings, business lunches, and team gatherings – from logistics to hospitality.
  • Managing communication channels, including phone calls, emails and correspondence.
  • Welcoming and assisting guests and partners, coordinating itineraries and ensuring a smooth visit experience.
  • Coordinating internal processes, such as room reservations, catering, supplies, and internal registration of consultants or lecturers.

  • Acting as backup for the Travel Office, arranging travel bookings, visa applications and travel schedules.
  • Handling various administrative tasks to keep the office running efficiently.

In short: you’re the go-to person who connects people, plans and processes — with an eye for detail and a warm, professional approach.

Are you ready to help shape the future of executive education? Then we’d love to meet you.

What you bring

It’s not about ticking boxes, but about who you are and how you work. Do you recognise yourself in this?
