UM SPORTS is looking for an all-round Group class instructor for teaching classes such as Clubpower (BodyPump), Box It, BBB, Zumba and/or other Aerobics classes. Do you have experience with teaching classes? Or do you think you’re talented and would you like to develop your skills as a group class instructor? Then we are looking for you!
As a group class instructor, you are the first point of contact for participants and colleagues. There will be new as well as advanced members who will take part in the classes. As an instructor, you are able to teach both freestyle classes and pre-choreographed classes on your own and you are able to get people excited for a workout. Of course you also make sure exercises are performed safely and that the use of materials is safe.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active and customer friendly group class instructor. The perfect candidate has affinity with student sports and student culture and meets the following requirements:
• Experience with teaching group fitness classes similar to the aforementioned classes
• Preferably having obtained a certificate for one or more classes. In-company training is possible in consultation.
• Language of instruction: English
• You adapt easily to different target groups.
• You are hospitable and know how to welcome participants in your classes warmly and put them at ease.
• You are available to teach in the late afternoon and/or (early) evening hours (possibly weekends)
