The European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) was created in 1981 on the occasion of the first European Council held in Maastricht and is supported by the EU Member States and the European Commission. Our core mission is to provide a mix of deep insights and practical knowledge about EU policies, to all professionals related to EU public affairs, with the key objective of further improving their skills and capabilities for effective management of the policies. In addition to the Maastricht based headquarters, EIPA has a centre in Luxembourg: the European Centre for Judges and Lawyers (ECJL).
EIPA has a small, collaborative Finance team of four (Senior) Financial Officers based in Maastricht and Luxembourg, working closely together to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and financial support across the organisation.
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance & Control Manager to lead and mentor the team in a broad, operational role.

As Finance & Control Manager, you will be responsible for financial management, reporting and compliance, while remaining closely involved in day-to-day financial activities. Reporting directly to the EIPA Director General, you will play a key role in helping shape financial strategy, improving processes, leading reporting and analysis, ensuring statutory compliance and financial sustainable of the organisation. In this role, you will work closely with the other departments, such as Project Organisation, Facility and Marketing, as well as the project leaders, to ensure cohesive and integrated operations across the organisation.
