We are the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center Maastricht. Years of experience and our strong focus on customer centricity has given us expertise to steer and develop global Customer Contact Centers (CCC) around the world. We belong to the Mercedes-Benz Global Customer Service & Parts division and collaborate closely with other departments and divisions to create the best customer journey.

With an international team of over 1000 colleagues, we work to create the ultimate customer experience not only for the drivers of our vehicles but also in support of the retail and logistics organizations.

The function

As a Facility Specialist I, you will be an integral part of our facility team, ensuring the smooth operation and management of our 15,000m² office building, which supports 1200 colleagues.

You excel at planning for the future while efficiently handling daily operations. We seek a problem-solver who is flexible, service-oriented, and capable of helping our department grow and professionalize.

As a Facility Specialist I your tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Coordination and execution of daily operations: Organize and oversee facility-related tasks and projects (building & terrain management), ensuring proper execution and results.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance performance and processes related to building and terrain management. Adding structure, improving daily activities and facility management processes.
  • Project Assistance: Support building maintenance & renovations, relocations, and smaller facility projects.
  • Procurement Support: Assist with tasks related to the purchasing process.
  • Emergency Response: Participate in the Emergency Response Organization (ERO/BHV) team to respond effectively during emergencies requiring evacuation.
  • Due to daily business needs, onsite presence is required. Working from home is not possible in this role.
  • This is a full-time position

Requirements

What are we looking for in the right candidate:

  • Higher vocational or MBO4 level through education or experience
  • Background in facility management is required with proven experience in the field.
  • You are skilled in multitasking and prioritizing
  • Goal oriented & persuasive
  • You are a critical thinker and want to improve efficiency
  • You take end-to-end responsibility and ownership
  • Proactive, problem-solving and service-minded
  • Effective and clear communication skills both written and verbal (Dutch + English)
  • (advanced) Outlook, word & excel skills (Microsoft office 365)
  • BHV/ERO certificate preferred (or willingness to achieve)
