We belong to the Mercedes-Benz Global Customer Service & Parts division and collaborate closely with other departments and divisions to create the best customer journey.

About the team

As a Business Intelligence Consultant, you bridge the gap between business strategy and data-driven decision-making. You collaborate with stakeholders to uncover needs, translate challenges into analytical opportunities, and co-create impactful BI solutions and short-term insights that drive measurable outcomes. This role blends consultancy, design thinking, and technical expertise, requiring both analytical rigor and creative problem-solving.

These will be your tasks and responsibilities:

Understand and Redefine Business Needs

  • Engage with stakeholders to uncover true business questions and guide optimal implementation.
  • Use consultative discovery and design thinking workshops.
  • Translate goals into actionable data and analytics strategies.


    Design Human-Centered BI Solutions

    • Apply user-centered design for intuitive BI experiences.
    • Ensure scalability and alignment with strategic objectives.


      Collaborate Across Teams

      • Partner with Product teams, Business Analysts, Engineers (SaFE Agile), and Management.
      • Generate data-oriented culture in the teams by providing quick insights based on available data.

      Technical Skills:

      • Core BI & Data Analytics: Power BI, data modeling, DAX, dashboard design, performance optimization.
      • Databricks & Data Engineering: Databricks Lakehouse, SQL, PySpark, Delta Lake, data pipelines.
      • Data Architecture & Modeling: Data warehousing, fact/dimension modeling, ETL/ELT, lakehouse environments.
      • Governance, Quality & Security: Unity Catalog, data governance, RLS, GDPR/PII compliance.
      • Desirable: Databricks One, MLflow, AI-assisted analytics, Power BI integration with Databricks.

        • Works effectively with Product teams, Business Analysts, Engineers, and Management, valuing different perspectives and contributing to co-creation and refinement sessions.

        • Able to explain findings and requirements clearly to both business and technical stakeholders, always considering the end-user experience, ROI, and time to market.
