The organisation

The Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center is an international multicultural organization and an integrated part of Daimler's Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales. In our offices in Maastricht we think and act globally and assume a leading role for the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Centers all over the world. Our goal is to provide excellent assistance to our customers and dealers of well-known Daimler brands like Mercedes-Benz, AMG, smart, Setra and Mercedes me. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, we ensure our customers' mobility with our roadside assistance. Additionally, we take care of all kinds of enquiries about passenger cars, trucks and vans during our opening hours. For our customers we are maybe the most important connection to the Mercedes-Benz brand. That's why we live the brand's most important promise: “The best or nothing”.
 

The function

  • Sort incoming and outgoing mail and packages, when applicable scan, code and copy letters and distribute mail
  • Ensure paper supply for locations throughout the MB CAC and collect used paper, in order to provide sufficient paper for MB CAC employees and get rid of used paper
  • Execute reproduction tasks on request of employees, in order to provide them with the copies and booklets for their work
  • Maintain machines and equipment in the mail room and printing room and execute machines operational as long as possible
  • Assisting with office moves
  • Assisting with events, set up theatre
  • Carrying out routine checks and inspection of facilities and equipment
  • Undertaking minor maintenance work such as lamp changing
  • Providing initial response to any reported faults
  • Carrying out repairs to fixtures and fittings
  • Other duties that may arise from time to time as directed by the Facilities Manager

Requirements

  • Background in facility and maintenance
  • Several years of relevant work-experience in a similar position
  • Work accurately
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English language
  • Strong customer focus (hospitality)
  • Willing and able to do (heavy) physical work
  • Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Flexible, quality driven and team player
  • Willing and able to work stand-by shifts once a month
  • Living in or near Zuid-Limburg
