As a Category Manager Indirect Procurement, you will play a crucial role in Boels' strategic sourcing activities. You will develop and implement procurement strategies for various indirect spend categories, including HR, Marketing & Communications, and Transport & Logistics. Although these categories are not directly related to our rental fleet, they have a significant impact on operational efficiency and cost control throughout the organization.
Through smart sourcing strategies and strong supplier relationships, you will help optimize costs while maintaining high standards of quality and service. You will manage supplier relationships, lead contract negotiations, and ensure the effective delivery of goods and services.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and have a direct impact on cost savings and quality improvements across our international markets. As a true connector within the organization, you will use your expertise to elevate our procurement processes to the next level.
Develop and implement strategic category plans that align with internal customer needs and deliver cost optimization.
Identify and realize synergies and improvement projects related to cost and quality across the global Boels Rental Group.
Apply Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles in procurement decision-making.
Manage supplier relationships and lead contract negotiations.
Collaborate and align with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Analyze markets and data to support strategic sourcing decisions.

A gross monthly salary between €3,951 and €5,643, depending on your qualifications and experience.

What do you bring?
Education: a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: at least 3 years of experience in a comparable procurement or sourcing role.
Skills: strategic and data-driven mindset. Strong stakeholder management and change management capabilities.
Languages: excellent command of both Dutch and English. Knowledge of an additional European language such as Swedish, German, or French is considered an advantage.
