Hoe je de functie zult invullen

• Lead and manage the finance department, overseeing two Assistant Financial Controllers.
• Prepare and manage annual financial statements and financial reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping practices.
• Report key financial metrics to Novolex to support group-wide objectives.
• Manage banking relationships and prepare cash reports for submission to Novolex.
• Execute payments and monitor debtors and creditors effectively.
• Conduct cost calculations to support pricing and operational decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch financial and tax regulations.
• Implement and monitor financial controls and processes to safeguard assets.
• Provide in-depth analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
• Guide and support financial audits and handle tax filings.
• Exercise joint signing authority with the CFO of Novolex for legal, financial, and tax documents on behalf of Burrows Netherlands and other Dutch legal entities, as registered with the Chamber of Commerce.

Wat we van jou willen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., RA, CPA).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Thorough knowledge of Dutch GAAP and tax legislation.
• Proven experience in banking relations, cash management, payment processing, debtor and creditor management, cost calculations, financial reporting, and audits.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to stay updated on financial regulations and tax laws.

Desired:

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of international tax regulations.
• Familiarity with audit management tools and tax software.
