Our main focus is on DNA extraction and clean-up kits for molecular biology in research, industry and diagnostics, and biological sample preparation for LC-MS/MS and (U)HPLC analysis in clinical chemistry / pharma markets.

We are looking for a Junior Deputy Head of Production and Logistics Operations with laboratory and chemical background (part-/full-time).

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Deputy Head of Production and Logistics Operations with laboratory and chemical background to join our team to ensure the smooth operation of our production laboratory and to contribute to the creation of highquality products that make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks according to Standard Operations Procedures and manufacturing guidelines
• Accurately record production data, procedures and results in accordance with company guidelines
• Planning and implementing operational strategies to meet organizational goals
• Leading and supervising a team of employees, providing guidance, training and performance feedback
• Managing and coordinating resources, including personnel, equipment and materials, to support operations
• Writing of Standard Operation Procedures for new manufacturing processes
• Assist in the development and optimization of production processes
• Analyse / assists in root causes of production issues and develop corrective actions
• Maintain inventory levels of production materials and communicate with the procurement team when supplies are low and keeping an organized inventory
• Monitoring and optimizing operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborating with other departments, such as finance, marketing and human resources to support overall business objectives
• Assist where needed and contribute across the organization

Qualifications

• At least in possession of a Bachelor degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or comparable education
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, chemical processes and manufacturing operations, as well as familiarity with relevant technologies and equipment
• Familiar with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
• Excellent communication skills, at least in English, preferably also in Dutch and German
• Dedication to safety and quality assurance
• Good knowledge in ERP System, Excel and Word
• Required competencies: ambitious, team-player, independent, accurate, problemsolving, leadership-skills
