New Water Project at Primary Schools
In Middle Limburg, Geleen saw the kick start of the project Watch Limburg. This is a school project about water for groups (years) 7 and 8 of primary school. The pupils receive a special teaching package, which will teach them the importance of water. Using a special test tube from their fieldwork kit, the pupils will test the water quality. The results will be announced on a special website. This way, pupils can compare their results with the results acquired in other places in Limburg. The project Watch Limburg is made possible by contributions from Limburgs Landschap, Rijkswaterstaat Limburg, Waterschap Roer en Overmaas and Provincie Limburg.
